Crystals as gifts?
I just bought 50 each of small clear quartz, amythest and citrine. Would these make suitable gifts? Actually, that's what I'm giving, so they'll have to be suitable!
What I'm asking is, do you think people will hold on to them as they are fairly small?

Sounds like they'd become moop quick if not put into someplace "bigger".
I realize it's a late date, but if you could make some of them into necklaces, I have one made from fishing leader and tiny beads, they would make outstanding gifts. Necklaces are very big on the Playa.
Good luck and see ya on the Playa

I;m a sucker for amethyst, but keep me away from that pachuli scented clear quartz. Go to your local chain bookstore and look at the beading magazines if you want more explicit instructions on how to wrap, etc. Or I'm sure you can find on line...

Wire wrapping materials can be brought with you. You can sit with people talk and work. But you don't have to, just sayin'.

I premake about a dozen copper wire pendants and then make about another hundred sitting in my camp having great conversations with anyone who will stop by.
