How big is 50 lbs of dry ice?

Just a bit under 2 cubic feet.

Dry ice weighs about 29 lbs/ft*ft*ft

Well, hmm, I have found conflicting information ...

Dry Ice is very dense,a 50 lb. block is the same size as a 25 lb. block of wet ice

You should probably CALL the sources listed in the dry ice directory, before assuming they're still viable....The listings for all around this area are several years outdated.

Since it relies on people emailing them the places, yeah, I would imagine it would change. It is easy enough to find in your local phone directory, though.

In California, many Albertson's markets carry it. In Reno it is also available at the Crystal Ice company just up the street (4th st. I believe)from the Albertson's at Keystone where many burners stop to stock up.
