Actually, there was too much drama in my original camp (not the HeeBee's by the way) and I've jumped over to Synapse. 10 & Fetish. Ask for Jed or Mistva

Got it. Your coordinates have been logged. I'll find you when I circle by the 10:00 potty bank.

Anyway, busy night last night I see.

Good Morning!
Sheesh, my dome covering is kicking my butt.....it has a high probability of not getting finished.
Anybody getting any rain? We just have very overcast skies and high humidity.
I think I'll have a cup of coffee and then really... I must go do something productive, like PACK!!

Work from the top down M. That way you'll have shade, and if it isn't finished you'll still get a breeze.

Good luck. I have to pack soon too so I know if I need to send anything more on ahead of me. See you soon.

Thanks, Sputnik!
If you happen to think of any kinds of coffee that would be good for me to pick up I'd appreciate it!
Anyone know where (besides New Orleans) to get Beignet mix?

Have a safe trip, Sputnik! See ya soon.

I worked up a simplified version of the Black Rock Station temperature graph for the past month. Use at your own risk. I am still bringing a warm coat and cold beer. Speaking of which, I need one. Wonder what's in the fridge?

RobbiDobbs wanders in, looking kind of dazed.

Hi Sputnik and Martinsky-poo.
Mind if I just hang out here for a while?

I realize in these moments that the Bar has not only become a chat-room, but also is like being on the Playa in one's mind. That's probably why I really appreciate this thread. Too bad we couldn't get a camp going. But we all have our obligations. I'm looking forward to seeing the faces of the voices I've been virtually listening to all this time.

She realizes that no, one is in the room.
Ok, I'll just talk to Sensei's hampster.

Coyboy Carl, Fence Builder Extrardinaire once said: "Only fools and newbies try to predict the weather out here."

I bring a heavy jacket every year. My first year was 99 and it was fucking cold. Taught me quick.

Gawddamn the 27th was harsh. It's a wonder people didn't get sick from that shift. Cripes. It got down to 40 in '99.

It's all about double knit quilts for my bedding ensemble this year. I also bring one light afghan, and 2 sheets. Oh, and 3 feather pillows. I'm big on bedding.

Sensei has a hamster in here? Better be a moopless model...

Okay remember to pack blue fleece, faux fur vest, smoking jacket, and lining sans coat. I hope that all that layered will keep me from becoming an icicle...

You'd think after what happened to woodrow (what happened to woodrow anyway--I haven't seen him rear his head in quite some time) Sensei would have enough sence--hey--to leave his pets at home...

EDB quietly enters, walks to the far end of the bar, sits on the stool
which is just across the bar from the stash register located under the
CocoLopez dispenser and next to the thrash register...
...on top of the trash register.
He stares intently at the stash register for a moment.......

a long moment...........

.......suddenly the essence of Johnny Rotten
channels into EDB. He starts doing the pogo with head and neck only.
The slightly neck-cricky EDB resists
But Johnny will have none of it.
He Spins
He Grins
He smashes his face on the bar top, and says:

Aye?"
