::pours three shots, rolls three joints, and throws three barrels of water in a trailer::

Any takers?

I'll take a shot - I'm stuck on the front desk at work (not my usual position), so I'm feeling even more out of place than usual. I would SO rather be at home packing bins and figuring out what I forgot to buy yesterday....

I have a meeting at 1pm, as soon as it is over I fly to San Jose (I am in Redwood City) as fast as the freeway will take me to do the paperwork for my mother-in-law's rental car when she arrives Friday ... they close at 6. Then the last minute packing and fly back to Redwood City to load it all on the Iron Rose Traveling Circus Truck and TRY to get the fuck out of Dodge before 7pm. Oh, and I almost forgot ... pick up Kristine's car at the shop too. I am seriously stressing, hope I don't forget my fucking ticket!

I'm still painting pictures for my Home for Wayward Art and shuddering at the sight of my sewing fabric. I still need to find our non-drinking water jugs, pack the new art heads, rinse all the coolers, put seat covers and floor mats in the new Blazer, find all the bedding, remember to call the housesitter, prep the room for guest cats, pay bills, dye my hair purple, water the plants, finish all the perishables in the fridge, make one more Dreamer Cap, sort the light toy box, make more adoption forms, help Des finish her floorcloth, roll up my floorcloth again, repair the spare snow canopy, modify a dress for Genius, take the advertising off the sombrero, find all the shoes to take, decide on which wigs will go along, clean the snow cone machine again, dig out the rechargable batteries, try not to forget the frozen caprisun pouches, try not to forget my medicines, do more laundry, and I can't vacuum because all the rooms upstairs and the hall are full of art, totes and solar panels. Shessh! You HAD to ask, I HAD to think about chores!

Once Larry gets home, we're going to buy our deep cells next Saturday, pack the trailer Sunday, take a short nap and then head out.

Thank you Joel, I'm printing that out.
Don't forget your ticket! That's one of my nightmares too. In fact before I lock the house up that is the very last thing I grab so I know I have it.

One more day of work then it's home to pack and to ask the big question this year: Do I really need to take this? If I don't, shove it aside. It's less stuff to hassle with on the playa.

And then I get to figure out when I leave, my normal goal is Denver / Cheyenne by sunrise on Sunday, Salt Lake City by Sunset, Jungo at Sunrise on Monday. That may get bumped up this year. Jungo in the dark?!?! That outta be interesting!

We leave out if Ogden (hence SLC) Sunday late afternoon. The trailer precludes Jungo, so it is I-80 to Fernley. Larry has shower credits at the Pilot and the Love's, so we may rinse off before hitting 447.

Larry gets here sometime Saturday, joy. Dang DOT hours of service, or he'd be here Friday night.
