Anyone know the Homebrewed Frog Beer group?
Anyone know the Homebrewed Frog Beer group?
I had some good HOMEBREWED beer from this guy and I didn't even catch his name. This is what I looked like after drinking it...
. I know that they were driving around a truck with a frog on it. It was REFRESHING. I would recommend anyone to taste it next time they go. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Agreed
Yep, I had some of his brew Thursday night and I agree, it was damn good. As a homebrewer myself I was floored by the quality he produced. i can't give you any more info on him, but he does get my vote for best playa beer I sampled this year.

froggy beer
I totally had some of his beer. I agree it rocked. The guy with the truck that had a multilegged frog way up top right?
I think his name was Jim or Tim. Anyone know him?
It'd be cool to stay in contact with him.
maybe even get a recipe or two. (if it's not a family secret)
I remeber seeing him around 9:00 and Mars, but who know if that's where his camp was.

i know frog truckers
That guys name is Jim. The group hails from the bay area. I shall pass the word on.
Yes, that was the Rev. Jim Blue, and you tasted his Mendocino masterbrew. He picked 40 lbs of blackberries for the blackberry stout. We were at 9:11 Mars. Camp FrogStar. The frograj herself traveled from Mendo to Richmond, CA to BRC, back to Richmond and is now sitting in our sideyard guarding several empty kegs. Glad to hear you all enjoyed the brew.
ClownLover, you rOcK!

YIPPEEE AI O!
That is some GREAT stuff. Tell the Rev Jim Blue that we should get together and do something for next year. I'd love to be apart of the homebrew station at BRC next year as I'm sure other people would be as well. Where is the Rev from? Mendocino or Richmond? FrogBeer ROCKS!
FrogRaj for ALL!
I have passed the info on. He is in Mendo, the rest of us are in Richmond. We would have been out on the playa more, except that it was/is hard to find a driver... if the frograj rides again, she'll need a bigger crew to get her up and keep her going. (There are great plans for her future incarnation.) If you know anyone with a little extra elbo grease...hook us up!
If you want to see frograj again, she'll be touring Berkeley, CA on Fat Tuesday-at the Mardi Gras Parade. She will, of course, have more of Rev. Jim's newest hops libations to shower upon those who have their own cups. ALL are welcome!

It's TIME!
Hi DevilGirl and ClownLover, our group is getting ready for this years treck to the desert and I remembered this post about the frog beer. I wanted to see if Rev Jim Blue knows where he is going to camp and what kind of special brew is he making this year? I'll be around so let me know where and I'll stop by. Do you guys have a spot yet?
Hope you had a rockin year... time for a new one! 8)
