Your parents shuld be able to put your name ont eh ticket for willc all purposes, I'm a virign this year and have a will call waiting on me. You need the confirmation number and photo id that matches the name on the ticket. I can't remember if there is a place on the internet order form to put the recipients name or not, but they can put your name on it.

hopefully someone with actual experience will chime in here and confirm/clarify...

are you going by yourself? if i'm not mistaken you need a guardian if you are under 18.

You most certainly need a guardian if you are under 18. If you expect to pick up a ticket on will call, it must be in your name and you must have a picture ID. It is also a good idea to have the confirmation letter showing that the ticket is yours.
Those who think they can and those who think they can't are both right.

When I purchased my will-call ticket there was a link right there on the form to put the ticket in someone else's name. Have no fear!

Be aware that online ticket sales end 8/26. Same for outlet sales. For places to buy tickets in person, as well as various deadlines, check out the link below. You'll probably want to call the outlet first to see if they still have tickets. If you don't buy online or at an outlet by Friday, you'll be purchasing them at the gate for a higher price - unless you arrange to purchase them through a private party.

Maybe you can convince you parrents to come with you.

It could happen.

I was just thinking. What about a limited power of attorney such that your parents could give someone else legal custody for a specified period of time or something? I'm no lawyer but if possible, surely this could be drawn up easily. Then you could get your ticket with whoever is your guardian. Shit, *I* could be your guardian for all it matters.

Or just forget and start planning for next year. You'll be 18 and won't have to do any of this.

Nah, you'll just have to find a way to shoehorn 50 pounds of food, 300 pounds of water, tent, bike, shade canopy, solar lanterns, wings, gifting necklaces, EL wire, bunny ears, batwings, clown shoes and frightwig, Jolly Roger flag, two coolers, a toolbox, forty-eleventeen bungee cords, et alia, into your vehicle...

You do have a car, me hopes? Or at least some really really really understanding friends, yes?
