ROBOTLAND SIGNING OFF

Post by robotland » Thu Aug 25, 2005 11:08 am

I'm OUTTA HERE to go stuff my Honda.....Six AM and I head West! thought I'd give a Reader's Digest version of my Eplaya contribution here:

Domes are good. If you like domes, come to the Parade Of Domes 2005. Check the WhoWhatWhenWhereHow guide for details.

GOOP adhesive is good stuff.

I miss Tuk Tuk.

I once hit a peacock with my car. (Unintentionally.)

Stop at Saltair, Thunder Mountain, and the big Iowa truck stop. They're fun. If you see a silver Element parked at any of these places. or along I-80 between Indiana and Nevada, it might be me.

I'll look forward to comparing notes in a couple weeks- Made some new friends here, and I'm anxious to play with those who're getting dusty this year!

Drive safely, and listen to as much NPR as you can stand....I'll see you soon.

Robotland (AKA Planet Steve) OUT.

We all miss Tuk Tuk.

But I think I know what happened.
Sophisticated animatronics like those used to create Larry are difficult to maintain. He likely broke down and the crew is too busy putting staff stickers on their golf carts to attend to him right now.
Tuk Tuk is being fused with the Animatronic Larry so that Larry can be his own golf cart. Look for her buzzing around the playa with a Stetson on.

In case he's already left and can't answer, he's scheduled to be in Hushville on 4:30 at Ego.

Thanks phil. Where will YOU be? Is there a "where will you be" thread? Should there be?

I had one and I can't find it. Feel free to start another.

My hope is to be next door to Robotland -- have been for the past couple of years. Our official placement is on 4:30, and we hope to have property on the street for our clothing give away/fashion show.

And I hope to be bringing the spirograph shirt, some other hot nerd choices, and would you like some temporary hair color?

I've been placed on 4:30 in Hushville near the footpath, I think robotland is over on Ego near the main entrance. We'll have to meet in the middle. Do stop by and adopt some Bad Art, give it a loving home with a new family.

Of course, things always change ...
