Hey all!

Post by Sihaya » Fri Aug 26, 2005 11:29 pm

Well let's see. I've never been to BRC. Had originally planned to go this year but due to many circumstances (lack of funds/companions/planning) I won't be making the trip this year. However I will do everything in my power to make it happen next year as I feel I really need this experience. Any tips/advice/etc to help in this endeavor would be greatly appreciated!

Start saving your pennies now to get a ticket when they come on sale early in the year. Once you have a ticket, you'll have more incentive to make things happen.

I'm sure you will find this tip in other areas of the e-playa but here it is just for you: Throw your expectations out the window. Don't come to the event with any pre-conceived ideas of what the event might be like. This will be my 9th trip to the playa and each year brings surprises that are totally not expected.
