Hey everyone,
I just got back home from 2 days at Ground Zero. ( setting up) Now back to default world for 3 days of work.. Argggg

1. You drive and old trailer, Buy New Tires.... Saw 6 rigs on the side of the road..
2. Tie down your loads....
3. DON'T overload your mini van with 500 lbs. on top..
4. See above for pick-ups.
5. DON'T pass anyone on Hwy. 447.. Why???

Other things I saw, At gate impound.. 12 of those mini bike/choppers. You know those loud dusting bikes.. Don't bring em.....
Saw 4 art cars/golf carts also.

Do Take the gate and greeters crew something cold .. They are in big time dust..

The Playa is super this year.. Last night was very mild and no wind. Today was warm with 15-20mph winds..
I was Born OK the 1st Time....

Don't bring defaultia to Burning Man, take Burning Man to defaultia...... graidawg

Yeah, this is also a good time to remind people to not speed while on their way to the playa. Not only are there tons of cops waiting to make money off your stupidity, your stupidity could get you (or me) killed. Don't drive stupid. If you hit my car and don't die I will beat you until you wish you were dead. Thanks!

And also, watch out for the cows. There are plenty of free range cattle on Hwy 447, and every year there seems to be at least one auto vs. cow accident on that road, usually just north of nixon.

I work for the REMSA, the ambulance company in Reno. We also provide advanced medical treatment & transport off the playa. Heck, a few years back one of our ambulance hit a cow on 447. You should hear the way our medics tell the story now.....

"So there we were, heading out to the playa. When all of a sudden this HUGE bull comes running over the ridge. He must've been 10 feet tall, and he was snorting flames! He starts running for us, so I tell my partner to hit the gas. We just narrowly missed being rammed from the side! At first I was just relieved that we didn't hurt the bull, but I looked back and he was running after us! He finally got even with us, I looked over and saw the glowing fire of determination in his eyes. We jerked the wheel hard, and slammed into him, causing him to run off the side of the road and tumble down a hill."

When in reality, we were probably just not paying attention, and didn't look to see the cow standing in the middle of the highway.
