This Little Light of Mine...

Post by Mister Jellyfish Mister » Wed Sep 07, 2005 9:13 am

This year, I got a taste of my own light. Generous people all around me took the headlamp of my own soul and shined it right in my eyes. The after burn lingers still, and nobody standing in line with me at the store can resist it. Such a feeling of relaxed confidence, power and love.

I'm going to get off this board now and stop preaching the the choir. We all have an energy that we can take into the world that resonates with other souls not lucky enough to have attended. We don't have to talk to them about Burning Man, it can be as simple as standing next to them and radiating.

Go forth and do burning things.

As soon as we got back into cell range this year, my campmates started checking their voicemails and such. I overheard more than one of my ex-virgin campmates telling their friends and family, "It was incredible. You have to go," and such. This made me smile because I think it's hard to go to Burning Man without taking some really good things back to the "real world" with you that help make the world at least a little better than it was before.
It's what you make it.

You're in Sparks? How come I never noticed that before? I'm in Reno, as you can see.

Maybe we should get together, talk about playa related things, and you, me, and my honey (and anyone else...this isn't exclusive!) can make a big fire out of our individual lights?

That would be hard to miss.

Souldancer, do you plan to attend any of the decompressions we have coming up next weekend. I'll be at the one in SF for sure. The Reno one, maybe.
