PS ON HURRICANE

BE AWARE:

MANY Airports have closed for relief workers and the National guard. This may effect some of you getting home.

They have deployed many National Guard Units to the area to quell the uprisings. I heard that the entire state of Louisanna's Gaurd is being brought back from IRAQ to deal with this disaster.

Here is a quote form an online news source:
"NEW ORLEANS - New Orleans descended into anarchy Thursday as corpses lay abandoned in street medians, fights and fires broke out, cops turned in their badges and the governor declared war on looters who have made the city a menacing landscape of disorder and fear."

SERIOUSLY GUYS - this is worse than 911 in two ways: on 911, there weren't any survivors from the rubble on the towers fell - but in the hurricane rubble, there are mabye 50,000 or more...but stranded and not getting help...so they are dropping off like flies. Dead bodies are everywhere and floating down the mississippi and throughout New Orleans. AND there is unrest - on 911 people helped eachother and relief came quicker. People are losin' it and for good reason: they feel they have been abandoned. Guards rolled in faster than the food and water did.
In addition to N.O. and Louisianna, here are some small towns in Miss and Alabama that have been wiped off the face of the earth.

I'm feeling helpless here in Baltimore...ug.
Blessings, Love, and Laughter,

The Goddess

When you all get back, some of you might be in a position to help people out. Just thought you might be interested.

There's a thread specifically for helping out stranded Gulf State Burners. Here's the link:
