I hope everyone had as good a time as I

In all honesty I have to say that I had the BEST TIME this year. This was my sixth time at Burning Man and what a brilliant experience this was. Great vibe, great people, great art, the burn was awesome (I got to chuck a few negative Jr. High School era diaries into the flames ), the fire dancers were amazing as usual, the temple burn was the very definition of beauty. I can't think of enough nice things to say. Hope everyone else had as much fun as I did. 8)

And many thank yous to the patrons of our little tiki bar better known as 'Cannibar' at 8:30 and Fetish, you folks are wonderful I hope to see you all again in BRC.

This was my ninth year. This event has definitely evolved.

A fun one!

This was my 9th and 5th for my wife. I have enjoyed all of them. Each of the past years my wife leaves with "Next year send me to Hawaii and go by yourself." As we left this year she started planning for 06'. Now that makes it the best year of all for me.

Best of three for me!

Everything about it was the BEST! But most especially the incredibly positive energy from everyone I met.

Thank you thank you thank you! I am filled.

I am ready to go back to work and spread the love!

Last year was my first, and so this year I did not feel so much overwhelming awe. Plus, the rumors and then confirmation of the disaster along the Gulf Coast really kicked my ass.

Word from visitors at Zaphod root beer saloon, however, was that this was an excellent year. I heard that from countless amazing people and heard little to the contrary.

Thank you to everybody who participated! The Zaphod camp had an AMAZING experience diminished only by tragedies in the south.

Best of six for me -- probably because it was my first theme camp, we were able to spread a ton of love, and because five of my best friends came with me. Ironic because I couldn't go anywhere during the day because I was running the camp so I didn't see much (at night we were just looking for cool people and cool music).

Wonderful 2005 at BRC!

Thank you all of you wonderful people at BRC 2005! It was the most amazing beautiful wonderful experience this year! The weather was superb, just the right mix of wind and sun and hot and cold, the playa itself was gorgeous and all the art and performances and interactions I got to be part of are to be always fondly remembered. My HypnoHorse pedal trike with all the pinwheel colored wheels was a hit (and I burned off many many calories pedaling it around) and I had a blast! Standing in the heat and flames of the temple burn and just reflecting on life was the highlight for me, plus I met a very special person to spend time with after the Man's amazing performance. BRAVO TO ALL OF BRC!! I'm planning for 2006!!

I will echo all the above.7th Burn and from the get go it seemed like everything was going to be very cool.Best ever and full of serendipity.
To illustrate the point:Friday we have our biggest night/dance,Depeche Mode.Touch and go all day whether the wind would die down enough to allow the event as the sound gear quite sensitive at this point.Well at 9:50 it looks like a go and I reach to turn a speaker on.Just at that point the generator, full of dust I imagine( a Honda 3000iu no less),dies.Event now certainly cancelled and many left disapointed.About 5 minutes later a VW van pulls up to the tent.In the van were two gentlemen who had JUST arrived at BRC and one of the occupants wanted to be dropped off immediately, before setting up camp,at the Depeche Mode dance.Well this van,on the roof, had a Honda 2000iu generator. When they heard the story they said we could plug into theirs!
Now how often is someone dropped off at a camp on Friday by private vehicle? How many with Honda 2000s on their roof? The show went on,it rocked big time and anyone there could feel the spirit of The Project.M and Peter,(the two saviors),everyone I met or saw or didn't see throughout the week,One Love you all!!Fantastic time.
Be careful. You can spend all your money in there..............................Oriental Visitor

5th year for us, had a great low-key time, the Home for Wayward Art was a success, the Golden Cafe rocked, and we had a blast giving away snowcone shots during the Chai Revolution. Best camp set-up yet, finally got the shade space done right.

And I didn't even need the solar panels, but probably should have sone more with lights in camp.

Yeah, I'll have way more lights next year including a light for our sign. We had a guy have some solar panels shipped to LA for charging batteries and a cooler but all three were broken upon arrival.

Hey I saw the mousetrap, too! Way Cool!

But my favorite experience was the clocktower burn:

There was a major duststorm on our way there...so crazy that we had to stop and huddle for a few minutes. But it stopped right before the burn. When the clock started burning the heat from the fire caused the bells to toll...eerie bass sound....boooommmmmm....booommmm......booooooooommm.....and the wind from the fire caused all the wind instruments on the top and sides to spin furiously. The flames were blue and purple and green and bluegreen andteal and red and orange. There was a trail of redhot embers that parted the crowd and formed a long red river on the playa. It was awesome!
