Lost Sony F-707 5.1 megapix camera with filters on lens

Please help a Black Rock Ranger.

I lost my camera at the Critical Tit's ride on Thursday this year. Switching between the polaroid (which was the primary camera) and my digital camera, I did not realize for about five minutes that the digital had jumped my camera bag. I went back and checked, since I had only moved about 70 feet since I last used it, but someone in the massive throngs took it.

So, now I'm hoping that I can hook up with the person and get the camera back.

The Sony F-707 has a barrel lens with two filters screwed on it. Inside is a 256 MB purple memory stick with about 20 pictures from the ride. One screw is missing from the bottom mount (where a tripod would go) from a do-it-yourself repair in the past. It's fussy and needs occassional tender care in order to keep functioning (fourth trip to playa will do that...).

This is my only digital camera. I use it for art projects in Seattle and will have to drop my artist credentials until I either get it back or find a permanent job to pay for a new one. Since I am heading down to Baton Rouge to build temporary shelters, I was hoping (praying) that I would make the connections needed within the next two weeks.

At least I still have the lens cap!
