I feel pretty thankful to those i got to meet at the meet and greet. We finished off a 5 gallon keg in I think just about an hour and a half. I talked to hundreds of people. I wish i could of mingled more but i'm a protective girl when it comes to my beer and wanted to be at the helm of the tap.

I will be heading to drop off my film soon. I know I did take some meet and greet pictures, so when I have them and everything is sorted and pretty I will post the link.

Thanks for everyone for having some of our beer and giving us praise on it. Makes me feel good.

And if you didnt get one of our bottles. Please stay tuned.

It was fantastic meeting you and everyone else as well Reba, that brew did me goooooood! Sorry that I could not meet everyone, but I had fun buggin out early to help Jellyfish around interacting with people.

Sensei, thanks for the wrap, that was way cool of you, and handy.

Things people said when they met me...

"I thought you would be taller."

"You are much nicer in person."

"I was expecting some kind of geek."

"You DO have hair like Morrisey!"

Favorite, "OH I LOVE YOU, YOU ARE LIKE, THE GREATEST!"

And a special thanks for our gracious host Dr.Pyro for having it at the Barbie Death Camp.

There are advantages to arriving late. (Even if the bar was closing up when I got there.)

Loverly to meet those of you I actually did meet there. Apologies for the sheer dfrunkenness that was me at that point, and that I didn't make it around to more of you before it became dark and cold and I was hungry.

Next time I'll try to remember to wear more than lingerie.

Anyway, thanks to ya'll, especially to the esteemed doc pyro (YOU FUCKING BASTARD WHO LEFT WITHOUT SAYING GOODBYE TO YOUR VILLAGE MATE!!) for being a gracious host. And special thanks to you who made it around at non-meet and greet times to say hello.

I was tore up by the time our crew of drunken miners showed up. It all started in the AM with Bloody Marys at Donut Love with no breakfast and the day went downhill from there. The Meet and Greet is just a blur. I remember seeing Kristy Kreme, Koosh, and not much else. I think we then raided the cafe village and sampled some of the most excellent Bloody Marys at Trisha's camp. I have no damn clue where we went after that. I just know I didn't puke but I had no voice at all the next morning so I must have been doing some serious yammering.

Barbie Death Camp serves miners! YAY!

Visiting the village twice without meeting me in person is a smiteable offense.

I met Dyna-lite and eloise at Donut Love and there were several others but never got much involved in conversation and really just wanted to kinda get to know people as they came, so to speak. I was really just enjoying all the people and their antics. It sure looked like Ellen was having a great time. I did trapse through the village once vaguely remembering something about Bucket and that balloon but there didn't seem to be anyone around or they were sleeping. It was fairly early morning (probably around 9 or 10 am).

I suppose I could have just started grabbing people and asked them "Do you know who I am?" but that isn't my style.

I was curious if anyone has a picture of me from the meet and greet in my furry sundress. If you do can you either post it or PM me?

Several days too early, Mr. Cat. But then, I came looking for you early in the week all decked out in my runners. To no avail... but I think i met almost all of your neighbours.

I wasn't remotely surprised that you're not a woman.

Kick ass metal work, darlin. Thank you.

Sorry for the incoherency. I BLAME THE OUZO!!

Not only is he a man, and an intelligent one at that, but a damn good looking one, too! >>grins<< And that accent? Youza! Make this California girl Swoon!! >>giggles<<

I have a very fond place for LeChat... Not only did he intro me to Nipple's sister out at the temple (lotsa tears that day!) but he gifted me one of his metal art pieces (which I think I've taken off all of three times since!) and has a special place next to my heart.

(enter one blushing black cat)

I’m glad you’re enjoying the necklaces. It was an honor to gift them to each of you... no kidding. It’s a great comfort to know that things I make are well loved, especially by people I care about. This whole community means a lot to me.

The only thing I wish had been different was that I’d allowed for more time to sit and just talk and swap stories with everyone I met. Next year, assuming we all have the good fortune to still be around, there’ll be more time spent. That week just goes so freakin’ fast and is a little blurred now.

To quote my camp mate, Chaba:

Everything I saw, I’m not sure I remember.
Everything I remember, I’m not sure I saw.

And Sue... Our visit to Apokoliptika was a great time. Hope you guys also enjoyed the company of our camp for a bit and that fine Kentucky Bourbon.

Well, damn it all. I'm not planning to be there. Better come out in December. Then we can have our own version of the obM&G - here in Seattle.

I’m planning on being in Seattle for the ABANA Conference in 06 (Artist-Blacksmith's Assoc. of North America). I think either April or July. Can’t recall at the moment.

What’s this about December?

Gotta run and eat at the moment.

He hugged me! I was so excited! It was cool to see you guys again...wonderful to see the Rabbi and Rian (we're thinking of moving to Seattle...we should have a beer), and Doc Pyro, and Unjohn, and Silver! and AntiM and Crypto! and the Reindeer Fucker that Rob sent...wow..., it was nice to meet you, 5x5. I didn't get to meet Chai Guy or Kinetic, both of whom I was looking for...Who else? Karma! It was good to see you and I'm glad everything worked out...

I was sad that Badger was a no-show....Curiously, Isotopia didn't make it, either. I'm developing a suspicion concerning the two of them. Hmm....
Thanks to Addis, I had more free time.

Fat Sam are you gonna make it to SF Decom? I'll be there. You can also connect with me at Xara Dulzura in San Diego come Spring Time, or just about any weekend in SF really. I'd love to meet you without waiting a whole year to do it.

(and next year I really do plan on staying for the whole damn thing!)

I'm definitely going to be at Decompression...I contacted the people organizing to see if I could play, too. No response yet, though. But yeah, I'll be there. We'll have to figure out a way to meet up.
