One of my friends over on LiveJournal is in prep as I type this for a kidney/pancreas transplant. She's had several false alarms this summer (#2 on the match list time and time again), but she got the heads-up yesterday afternoon, and the "get the fuck down here" call at 7am her time.
I wish all my Mondays started with this much fucking hope.

My fucking position at the West Michigan Cancer Center was eliminated on fucking Monday, and I was fucking asked to leave without even getting my coat and keys, like I was a fucking criminal.
