That burning ring of life...
Our friends had two engagements at BM, and a returning now married engaged couple from previous years, and one BM conception now old enough to join as part of our camp. Love is grand and all, but now I'm wondering how long its going to be before someone wants to get cremated when the man burns.

This year as in past years the ashes of deceased burners that have been cremated have been incorporated into the temple along with the prayers, memorials, totems, hopes and dreams of others. The Burn releases all of these into the universe, and why the temple burn has a much more spiritual, than party feel to it.

Cool, you learn something new every day. I've of course seen the momentos but never seen anyone's ashes in the temple. Though, I was actually thinking of a whole coffin. It sounds like something I'd do.Zulegoona wrote:This year as in past years the ashes of deceased burners that have been cremated have been incorporated into the temple along with the prayers, memorials, totems, hopes and dreams of others.
