3 blondes at Center Camp's acapella concert on Sat.

So I was new to Burning Man this year and overwhelmed (in a good way) by all of the creative costumes and people that were there. That said, I'm more mainstream and someone a little more like myself (i.e. no costume, but very interested in all that was going on) caught my eye in Center Camp on Saturday afternoon.

About 1pm Saturday in Center Camp while in conversation, I noticed a very cute 20-something (or very young looking 30-something) tan blonde about 5' 6" (give or take an inch or two) wearing short brown cotton shorts and a matching top*.

She continued walking and I continued my conversation. Later, as I was simply people watching, I saw her again and casually took note of the way she was slowly walking around the circle to take-in everything. She appeared to be in a curious and contemplative mood... walking a few steps, stopping to watch the people (painters, performers, the crowd) for a while, and then continuing on again.

I found myself wondering who she was, whether this was also her first "burn", and what she thought of the whole thing. I thought I would go up to say hello - but then she sat down for a tarot card reading and I didn't want to interrupt. I became involved in a random conversation again and was later surprised to see that she was still there. Just as I was about to make my way over to say hello - she was joined by two other blonde friends** and I decided I was too shy to try to talk to all three at once. So I sat down to watch the acappella concert - and they did the same a few feet away. That was the last I saw of them.

Later, when I told my buddies what I had done with the afternoon, I included the story about the girl I had seen and wanted to meet. They (4 multi-year Burning Man veterans) were, all looking for the quick "hookup" and were surprised to hear me describing someone I'd actually like to get to know. A somewhat far-out conversation about fate, destiny, and serendipity ensued with the girls at our camp and that is leading me to put up this posting.

If fate has lead you to this posting and you know who this girl (and/or her friends) might be, then please shoot one of us a note so that we can get in touch through this posting. I'm a good looking, well-educated, fit, successful, 34yr old SWM with a lot going on (so say the girls at my camp) and I'd just like to see if it's possible to have a second chance at meeting this girl who caught my attention.

* tank-top/haltertop/speghetti strap t-shirt - forgive me, I'm a guy - I don't know the names for women's clothes :?

** one friend was roughly the same height, and one was a little taller w/ thicker hair - possibly corn rows or dread locks.
