Does anyone have any shot's, or have seen any shot's, of the life size mechanical giraffe? I ran out of film before I met up with him, and would really like a pic!!!! Anyone, anything?

The Robotic / mechanical giraffe
The giraffe was really well engineered. Lindsay spent months on it and his only complaint was that it was slow. Up in the head where the brain would be, he had placed the original Japanese toy that had guided the design and fabrication. The toy was switched on and operating so that you could see the mechanics of it's motion.
He got some consolation from the fact that the fire breathing dragon, "Cher de Love" was slower than the Giraffe.
The dragon was 9 months in the building. It was very heavy and had a few bugs to work out. I drove the follow-up power cart part-time, but in the end both pieces had drive train failure.

I don't post things because I believe that they are the absolute truth. I post them because I believe that they should be considered.

That Giraffe was AWESOME!!!
Thankyou all for directing me to it's path!!! No matter "what it's bug's or slowness", that giraffe was absolutely amazing! I was gifted a tiny ride in it, on temple sunday, and marvelled at it's wonder! The talents and creativity are sooooo awe inspiring! I sure hope he returns to the playa again! smiling away...........................
