Hello all... I'm not particularly a champagne girl... How 'bout a Guiness?
How is everyone this evening? I'm finding myself so homesick for BRC, it's rather pathetic... Any suggestions for getting thru the post-BRC blues?

Good evening all, has anyone seen Chai Guy around? As long as I'm here, can I get a Frangelico on the rocks?
Thanks much, I needed a little something. As I was saying, I was kinda looking for Chai. He may be over at Tribe,,dunno. I'm not worried, mind you. He just seems kinda absent.
I haven't heard nutin since he made a couple disparaging posts about Larry and Scientology, et al.
Of course, I was only kidding when I said that he was going to end up food for the worms.
Can I get a re, thanks?
He did mention that "even he was afraid of scientology"
I'm not really worried, mind you. But I was kinda bagging on the same people. If anyone hears from Chai or uuhhh reads about him,,,let me know. Thanks

You think that's an excuse? Ha! I have to go visit my stupd father-in-law next weekend, so I'm going to miss our decompression. Hopefully he fails to visit (since failing seems to be his only strength) and we'll get to go. We might be able to go to the autumnal Dark Skies in two weeks.

Saturday morning update.

The Fisher Bunnies 49-16 over the Blue Ridge Knghts to go undefeated in their conference (oldest son's football) so far. Nursing his pulled groin muscle, he even made a tackle causing a fumble and change of possession... woo hoo.

lit up the furnace this AM... yup, it is fall.

time for a beer yet?

Well, I itcha-lated the porch walls today and now my mom is the busy bee out there rearranging stuff. She's setting it up so she can start seedlings this spring and have them out there.

I kind of get to thinking about transplanting some of the sumac and fertilizing the bushes, trees and pampas grass but I don’t know if the inspiration will ever coincide with the time, before the snow flies.

No as in stag horn cut leaf sumac,... it’s suppose to be less invasive than regular sumac but , mine is starting up youngens from it’s roots, just not were I would like them. It hasn’t turned yet but it will be a brilliant red soon.

Are they like the trees that they have growing near the freeways and also wild all over the place? I think that's what my mom wanted a few years ago but I thought it was the bad sumac and we didn't get any.

yeah it’s like that except it has even lacier leaflets that looks a little like pot leafs or japans ornamental maples. Mine isn’t more that a few feet high yet but once it’s more established it will bush out a bunch fast.

Hi guys! It is a fireplace kind of night, isn't it. I just stacked a face cord of wood for the winter. Hope I don't need more, but I have no idea how much I'll use. Dark beer sounds good for a night like tonight.

I’ve had some really bad times with poison Ivy too . this stuff is fine but it does spread and I’ve heard many a story about people cutting out half a back yard of it.
