Okay, here's some more then...

Sure, let me shift to Lupus and I'll come with ya...
Haven't seen the new Wallace and Grommit yet, but methinks a wolf would trump any ol' rabbit paws down.

Wow.....That thing (*pointing over there*) looks TOTALLY different at night, all lit up, than it does during the day.....cool......
I thought about making one of those!
Is that coming TOWARDS us, or going AWAY from us?
ACKPTH!....this PBR's warm....Shit, it's almost HOT. Shouldn't have carried it in me sporran....*opens it anyway*
My bike seat's too low.

All these wolvies around have me feeling very spiritual.
Anyone ever build a sweat lodge on the playa.
I just happen to have a large iron pot,
a shitload of cowhides(from previous bbq`s)
various lengths of EMT, some GOOP, duct tape,
a vial of turkish oregano oil
and a load of very smooth river rocks.....hmmmm.
...maybe build a sweat-dome thingy with el-wire accents...
....hmmmmmm.......yeahhhhhhh........

It looks like an inside-out five-story ice cream cone, upside down, made out of rebar and covered with silvery fish imbedded in flexible vinyl....I like the green LED spotlights!
*stooping, and sticking his head through an opening*
There's a chillspace in here!
*crawling in- Sound of several of his inexhaustable supply of warm PBR's opening, and friendly giggles*

That's probably the most concise and accurate description of playa life I've read yet. Just add:robotland wrote:Wow.....That thing (*pointing over there*) looks TOTALLY different at night, all lit up, than it does during the day.....cool......

Argh, should have put wolfie-mocassins on, Playa dust is bad for woof tootsies, too. [Finds a place to sit and rub lime slices on her poor feeties]

This seems to be the place to be... Got no dome, but I do have a GP medium. Mind if I set up? I can contribute some lovely Oregon green, and some Czech Absinthe to the party... Got any beer?

Robotland, I see you brought your anvil. Will you be pounding one out for anybody special this evening?

yes. a friend of mine just said almost exactly that last weekend, and I told him about a dream i had where everything was going to hell, and once i found my kids i just started driving....realized where i was headed about the time i saw the other headlights going the same way. by the time we got to Black Rock, there were already structures and a greeter at the 8 mile entrance. then i felt completely safe.telizas wrote:Does anyone else ever think that should there be a nuclear war or the whole country fall apart, their first instinct would be to head to Black Rock? *pulls inflatable anvil out of his sporran and puts some air into it*
What shall I make? I've got this great sheet of platinum, several empty PBR cans, some copper wire, green LEDs and a roll of green shadecloth from the funhouse....
