One opinion or one rule can't be right all the time
good call...that's why even feminists's like dp's mom run the gamut from andrea dworkin to susie bright to naomi wolf.

interesting too, that the assumption is made that the experience of same sex 'cameraderie' is the same in all girl's school as it is in the military.

oh, except for the topless pillow fights....that's pretty much the same.

"Observable reality" has nothing to do with how things should be. Just because men are going to CT doesn't mean that they should be. That'd be like saying, "Well, there are lots of picture-taking perverts at CT who will be masturbating to these pictures at home later so that must be how it should be." Is that how it should be?
Observable reality is what can be seen, what has happened, not what anyone thinks 'should' be

And it is my point. No one is moving CT away from the sight of males. No one is doing anything to keep it all-female. Is, not should, not wants. Is.

As far as masturbating --males-- go(and I do find it interesting that you don't consider masturbating females in the equation--is it okay for them to photograph and lust after the riders?), what they do with their pictures or memories is up to them, it's no one's business. That's not a 'should be' either, that's simply how things are.

What I'm saying is that what you think 'should be' is not how things are or ever have been. That in planning and execution what you think 'should be' does not, based on visual and experiential evidence, enter into the equation.

Are there women who ride in CT who share your opinion? Probably. But that doesn't enter into what it is.

Enjoy your opinion, expand on it. And understand that it is the product, at least in the case of CT, of faulty reasoning.

It is good for everyone to have times and places where they can let it all hang out--and some of those times and places are gender specific. But CT is not, and is not desogned, to be one of them

Not sure if you're referring to what I posted but I wasn't referring to the cameraderie aspect of all-girls' schools. I was referring to the absense of male peer influences.

Food for mental mastrubation:

(Lat. Scrupulus, "a small sharp, or pointed, stone", hence, in a transferred sense, "uneasiness of mind")

An unfounded apprehension and consequently unwarranted fear that something is a sin which, as a matter of fact, is not. It is not considered here so much as an isolated act, but rather as an habitual state of mind known to directors of souls as a "scrupulous conscience." St. Alphonsus describes it as a condition in which one influenced by trifling reasons, and without any solid foundation, is often afraid that sin lies where it really does not. This anxiety may be entertained not only with regard to what is to be done presently, but also with regard to what has been done. The idea sometimes obtaining, that scrupulosity is in itself a spiritual benefit of some sort, is, of course, a great error. The providence of God permits it and can gather good from it as from other forms of evil. That apart, however, it is a bad habit doing harm, sometimes grievously, to body and soul. Indeed, persisted in with the obstinacy characteristic of persons who suffer from this malady, it may entail the most lamentable consequences. The judgment is seriously warped, the moral power tired out in futile combat, and then not unfrequently the scrupulous person makes shipwreck of salvation either on the Scylla of despair or the Charybdis of unheeding indulgence in vice.

Let's take a vote. All in favor of shipwrecking on the isle of unheeding indulgence of vice,,,,,raise your hands. Great!! we cast off tomorrow on a southerly course. Our first destination is the "Playa de once mil virgines",
Baja California Norte. After the "Beach of eleven thousand virgins" we sail south/southeast for the state of Guerrero for the legendary plantations of "Acapulco Gold". After the smoke clears, those able to walk will embark on a trek to the hinterlands north of Matehuala, Mex in search of a magic elixir.

The natives there collect the fruit of the "nopalo" cactus. This fruit [tuna] is allowed to ferment. Once fermented, it's put into 5 gal. jugs. To prove that it's the genuine stuff, they put a rattlesnake in the jar.

Last stop on the "indulgence of vice" tour is the island of Tumaco, Colombia. The "arcos" [narcotrafficantes] will be more than happy to supply any quantity of coke that you need [$500 a pound]
Anyone surviving the tour will have to say 5 our fathers and 5 hail marys on their return.

whoa---whoa---did I just see that?

Did can't sit still just say that tuna are fruits?

Okay, then why are they always in the seafood? Surely they'd prefer--and be cheaper if they were over in produce.

Maybe I'm shopping in the wrong place?

It's fall, maybe I'll head on down to the tuna orchard and net myself a bushel.

Tuna piano, you're right, no way! But I just got a pair of those in-line tunaskates--now I can go wherever I want, and leave a trail of sushi in my wake!

Keep on tunabladin'!!

I tend to flounder abit on tunablades.
I prefer tunaskates. Kinda old school I know,
but I balance better going over curbs etc...if the tuna is
more spread out and sandwiched. I used to have a Doberman Tuna that
would pull me around the park on my tuna.

No importa a mi si quieren ser chistosos. Pero,es la verdad. La fruta de nopal,,,,se llama "tuna" . Es la misma palabra del nombre de pez del mar "tuna"

Edit, in case you didn't notice, the second site says that no alcohol is made from any cactus. The first site says that yes it is.
"red" is net in Sp. and a color in EN."Tuna" is a fruit in SP. and a fish in EN.
Tres is "very" in French and "three" in Spanish. There are innumerable duplications like that.

Simple me.
I thought those were called "Prickly Pear" fruit.
You find it everywhere around here(Oklahoma)
I ran into a bunch of it one day, was feeling industrious, so I harvested it,
added sugar and canned it like fruit preserves,......yuk. Very bland and was a waste of time. And the backpack I used to harvest them.....prickly to this day. Damn that`s some irritating stuff. If it weren`t a nice leather pack, I`d have tossed it. I use it for holding rocks now....so hows that for mondo thread drift?

It really conjured up an image for me.
