California's Lost and Found

Post by calsur » Wed Oct 26, 2005 7:56 pm

The California Controllers office just kicked off their annual “Lost and Found” campaign. This is all the stuff they have from closed bank accounts, safety deposit boxes, insurance claims and a lot of other sources. I found 30 bucks for my Mom and 60 bucks for a friends wife in about 15 minutes. It is a really easy search engine, just a last name but you can add first name, city and other thing to refine your search. Here is the link:

Enjoy! And Good Luck!

Oh, cool. I clicked on it and found that my insurance company has $50 in refunds for me.

WTF? Umm, hellooo. I'm still your customer. Sheesh.
