peet's, peets, as in Mr. Peet the Dutch immigrant who taught mr. star and mr. bucks everything they know about coffee...

Of course, if you want something Mr. Peet roasted these days, I think you have to buy from the Royal Coffee Exchange...

What you do is art. Art makes us feel.

Check Duck Lake Loop Rd., Gerlach NV. Seems to be a lot of traffic headed that way. Or better yet, go naked! You're among friends. Besides, you may get lucky and get UberP to do a pole dance on ya!

Whassamatter fishy? Not feelin the love? You're fine just the way you are! Of course, if you're looking to do a little self identity exploration/alteration, you could try a little of this:

pours a drop of a smoking liquid from an ampule into a turkey shot, slides it across bar top

I'll take a glass of champagne, please... To toast our own lovely Tisha2's recovery from an emergency appendectomy early today.

She's doing well & back on the drugs... She should be home tomorrow. I don't know how long she'll be away from the computer. ;-)

I've been sending her lots of good energy & love all day long & will call her in one half hour to check in with her.

(Black cat comes strolling in after a long time away in the distant land of Lots-O-Work... he is skinny and his fur is matted, but he managed to find his way back in one piece)

whew... ok... um, one champange for witchy (raises glass in a toast and sets it on the bar)

and a G-n-T for uBeR. Glad to see you are doing well and will be getting some wheels. Dont' ever let anyone discourage you. And a big ol’ e-hug for tish!!!! Stop it with the "gettin-sick-and-gettin-cut-into" stuff!!

And a PBR for heli... and a brew to go with the streaking sammich... and.. (sets many cold bottles on the bartop) these for anyone else I missed.

(curls up in front of fireplace and wonders if anyone he knows will stop by)

National Novel Writing Month

check out http://www.nanowrimo.org

I've entered the contest every year for the past 4 and every year life is too crazy for me to even bang out a plot, let alone 50000 words.

I know Z. But having an idea would help. I'm going to hang around here for 10 more minutes and then I'm going to cogitate up a story before I fall asleep.

National Novel Writing Month
Ahhh.... yeah, a few folks I correspond with have started a small “write a paragraph or two and pass it on” type of story. We can’t even seem to get that rolling, much less a novel. But, damn it man... you can do it!!! Why do we let life get so busy anyways? Seems time to stop and breath for a bit to me. Well... at least here pretty soon.

I'm good, Z. Busier than I'd care to be, really, but it'll soon be coming back to a normal pace. I'm hoping to break free and head south with Karine after the first of the year. Help out with the clean up efforts.

How are you? I'm thinking of posting some pics of new work on my tribe site. I'll let you know if I get them up. Slow connection makes it ify at best, sometimes.
