The Spanish are in love with the photo gallery for BM.

"Soy de una Falla de un pueblo cercano a Valencia, Torrent, estas invitado a vivir nuestra fiesta cuando quieras y si tienes "

They've invited me to come to their falles. I may just go. We have a pyrotechnicians convention here. Most don't know of it. It's called Winterblast. It's in havasu. If you do a search, you can find video.
These are the big guys and they are there to impress the other big guys. It isn't the pidley 4th of july stuff. This is groundshaking.
search havasu + winterblast

I've managed to avoid the default world for 6 months now. Times up. Tomorrow, I have to pack up my truck and move to Cal. :( :( :(

From Bend?

Goodgawd, man! This may require an intervention.

I'm about to yank the plug on this dude. Bend is real pretty and I've got a log house that I can heat by burning my junk mail in the wood stove. It's paid for too. I cut the trees and built it. There's a bunch of white stuff coming down right now. That may be an intervention by tomorrow.

I've gotten too sedentary here. I need to get motivated. Fortunately or unfortunately, I don't have any financial motivation. The only thing that's dragging me back to LA is an old friend. I pulled up stakes and left my old job. He's now going seriously downhill. I'm going to work for a week and then go to Baja to help another friend race the 1000. I do pit&chase and prerun.

Then I'll go back to work and see how it feels. He'll set me up with a place--no rent , no overhead. I guess it'll be 30-35 cash an hour for work. I'll suffer as long as I can. I find that work really interferes with playing.

I want to go to BM, then the Falles in Spain, then Winterblast in Havasu, Then the Date Festival and the hot springs. I'm supposed to go to a reunion in Tasmania, dunno.

I'M AFK Dan

Christ Zaph, what did you do?? A goddamn hex or something. I left Bend in my Dodge PU towing my Benz. The road was pure ice. The truck has a tight positraction. When I gassed it a little, the posi slipped both tires and I slipped down the crown a little. That put the benz into a whip and it crossed the line and took out a Durango. That impact threw me the other way. I went sideways and ripped off the Mercedes and finally came to a stop. The PU is damaged, the Benz is totaled and the people in the Durango are quite pissed.
Is this what you meant by interevention?
Dan

My computer and other hardware were in the trunk of the Benz when it slapped the Durango. The pieces landed in the snow.

Thank's Mozy. I made it to LA without any more mishap. I appreciate the offer.
I'm a working stiff now. I came down to help out a friend. I'm in Van Nuys. My old computer is not looking so good. I'm on a loaner at work. I'm not going to Baja for the 1000, it didn't work out.
I haven't got the time I used to have.

great glad you made it.
I just quit a job I had for 7 years.
just doing the dance floors and Production thing now.
I could not do the corp. world any more.
I think that is why I started comming on the eplaya. In my job I talked to about 100 people a day in 48 states. I miss that part. I just like meeting and talking to people that are diffrent from me.
I learn so much from everyone I meet all the time.

good luck to you
