Joel, good to see you too. Any chance you might consider coming up for the Chicago decomp this weekend?

Busy in the darkroom after yesterday, 25 prints in the washer. 25 more to go. Got some good stuff though.

nope... funding is an issue... and we have a football game Saturday evening... second tier to the state playoffs for the 18 year old son... so that is this weekend.
got a friend, 1st time burner coming the follwoing weekend to see his photos and big grin on his face.
would enjoy hearing what the chicago group is like... unless they are unbearably chicagoan.

Well, I can see why you wouldn't come. No idea what a chicagoan is like, so it might be hard for me to tell you if they are that way or not. I've met Boperella before, and she is nice enough.

sput... i guess i have dealt with too many pushy Chicagoan undergrads that didn't have the grades to go to the U of I, so they settled for EIU... and would complain about getting hung with a new rope.

have fun, enjoy the city

Actually, it's at a farm in extreme southwest michigan. So there will be no city life to enjoy.

I recall there being some real nice dunes in that part of the state. Any Chicago people there are probably on vacation and in a good mood. Unless it's snowing.

Havin fun with the novel yet Sputnik?

Sput are you writing? Awesome. I have about 300 pages of story/journal from the last two years. Been thinking of approaching a publisher. Have to change the names/places though.

I love writing, but it seems like you'd have to FLOW if you were going to get a whole novel down. I tend to puddle, not flow.

300 pages is a hell of a lot Helitack. All on the same subject or random?

Maybe it should be National Writing Year. I think the bar is a damn good idea tho. You can get into your character's heads and then follow them around the place, see what they do. Total freedom.
