The wind whipped through the tent flaps, dust swirled around the heads of the people, as well as their beers.

Greetings, sputster. Nothing like a drink to cure the old writers' block. I'm having a Jamba Juice with a little "boost" of my own thrown in for good measure. Teehee.

hey cowboyangel
I live about 150 yards from the American river in Sacramento.
kayaking is big here. I love the ocean also. Took my 14 foot canoe out in the ocean at salt point last month. Only about a mile out. flat day small swells.
Ya I know... you should of seen the abalone divers face when we first went out.
A week after we where there.. a girl surfing was bit by a great white.
I spent summers at my granddads in Santa barbra surfing and diving in the 60's and 70's.
I love the ocean and I don't have any fear of sharks. When its time to go its time to go. Sure don't want to be sitting on a couch when it happens.
yes life can you smell it.

Here is a site of my freinds. We snow board with them and tried to meet up with them on the Pacific Crest Trail. Check in melody's trail ramblings day 36 we where the Rendevous Crew for Glen Aulin.

Ya its Mike Linda and son (John) now you know. And Rachael my 20 year old did not go.... has her own life or somthing.

Its all about the adventures for us.
