I just recently found out about Burning Man from a Rolling Stone article. The author said there was an event called kaos,or kick ass oral sex. If anyone has been to this event or anything like it, I would be interested to know what the number of women to guys is, if the women are the active partner as much as the men, if the people who get together know each other or if they have just met, and so on.

The first rule is not to believe anything written in the media about Burning Man. It just saves you a lot of grief.

The one notable exception I've come across is Brian Doherty's book: This is Burningman. It's not perfect, but at least I didn't have the strong urge to defenestrate I've had with all other writings about BM.

Kaos is not mentioned therein, BTW.

Have not read the Doherty, but have the impression it's written by a long time burner who happens to be a writer, not a "Gonzo Journalist" looking for sensational copy.

I was camped kinda across the street from kaos. Pretty sure it was a joke, not an actual forum for oral sex.
