Yow! Now *that* sounds not only quite the beverage, but a wonderful tribute as well. May have to default that one!Mozy bonz wrote:IED (Improvised Explosive Device)
This recipe was created by 2nd Platoon, Military Police Company C, United States Marine Corps (Reserve), quote "After 2 combat tours in Iraq over the past 2 years, we decided to honor those of us injured and to toast our fellow Marines killed by IEDs in Iraq. We just developed it in the barracks and will be taking it public the night of the Marine Corps Birthday Ball, November 10th [2004]."
1 shot Bacardi® 151 rum
1 shot Jagermeister® herbal liqueur
1 shot Goldschlager® cinnamon schnapps
1 shot Jose Cuervo® 1800 tequila
Combine Jagermeister (smoke), Goldschlager (fragmentation), and Jose Cuervo tequila (because we had 1 Mexican in the platoon) in a highball or old-fashioned glass. After all ingredients have been combined drop some lit Bacardi 151 rum into the glass and shoot. After a couple of seconds when the intital shock has wore off you yell BAM!!
Until then... set me up!
Hey Papa, Welcome to the madhouse... better set one up for the lost for his return.
BTW, didja see the stamps the USPS put put in honor of the anniversary of the Corps? Kewl stuff!

Shit! My network keeps going down!
And it’s not on my network side, F***ing server. I need to upgrade my computers and I have 8 to rebuild. I am Way past an upgrade for my systems. I am planning to put in a couple G4 Macs. And up grade my audio and video hardware. So a might be going off line for a while. Will see what happens. If I do I will check in from a friends network,
When I can.
I will leave you with this drink for now.
Dragon's Breath
1/2 oz Firewater® cinnamon schnapps

I am with you BC! I am in the mood to party!
Campari and Ale
Campari and Ale invokes a gradient effect produced as the carbonated ginger ale sits on top of the Campari. This cocktail has been affectionately referred to as the "Crimson Gradient." Many enjoy its simplicity yet alluring tang and undescribable sweetness.
3 oz Campari® bitters
6 oz Schweppes® ginger ale
Place several ice cubes into a 12 oz highball glass or equivalent. Gently pour in the Campari bitters until one-quarter full. Add the ginger ale until three-quarters full, pouring across the side of the glass so as to not affect the Campari on the bottom.
