Admin? Admin? Looking around, crickets chirping...there's the sound of the wind blowing over the Black Rock Desert in the lonely wintertime....but that's about it.

So how bad is it going to get? If someone posted a disgusting k-p0rn link would the admins even be around to strike it? Or besides for a handful of people has the board deteriorated so much that nobody cares? It sure seems that's the case.

In general I wonder if it's possible to just build a filter that'd reject the '.ru' and not allow them to post.

The .ru filter would help with some of it...but look back at the links for the animal p0rn. A filter is not going to be enough and likely won't be effective for long.

its a clever phpbb hack if you ask me, albeit evil one. seeing phpbb has such a huge install base, if there is not a mod i could imagine its only a matter of time before someone gets irate enough to write something up.

i've found a mod that will help with this dotroo crusade and requested that it be installed. it will save an immense amount of time.

i'd do it if i had the sKiillz and time.. i've been opening a new business in time for the holiday spending spree.

I volunteered (couple times) my time and efforts to either do it carefully and solo or be part of a double-approval deletion squad. Never responded to that, so I can only assume they don't need the help.
