Just got off the phone with Fishy; services are still pending, but will be in the Oakland/Berkeley area, hopefully close to public transit.
Fishy's email is chukka(at)yahoo(dot)com, though she's only checking the net sporadically right now; I have her home address if anyone wants to send a card. Memorial donations can be sent to any of the following organizations:
Scott was also volunteering with the Civil Air Patrol; I don't know if they're set up to accept donations.

Fishy-
I just found out. I am so sorry for your loss.
I'm too stunned and saddened to think of anything proper to say.

How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?
An infinite number, all glowing and sparkling with divine light.
How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?
Isn't one enough,
The one who came in the dark and rain,
And gave you his hand
When you thought you were alone?

Isn't one enough,

Tears
I just dont no what to say After burning for 5 years I decided to volunteer at bm esd this year. I am an emt basic in las vegas I had very little field work befor bm mostly clinicals. So when I walked into station nine sunday the day before the event started I was very nervous and timid. The first people i met were crypto who i had chatted with on eplaya over the years and of course scott. Both of you reached out to me and made me feel very comftorble scott helped me with some of my first assesmants out there and helped a veteran burner start to become a veteran emt. I had the pleasure of working with scott a few other times as i think he works 24-7 out theyre. I will never forget scott and the impact he had on me as a proffesional EMT. Thanks Scott

I just learned of this opportunity to help. If you are so inclined as to make a donation to help pay for Scott's funeral expenses you may do so here:
http://www.medicalresponse.org/
Any excess funds will be donated to a charity in Scott's name by Fishy.
Fishy we love you and you are in our hearts always.
