Thread drift happens over here, this isn't the 3Playa where the person that started the thread has several control options / enforcement options to make sure it stays on track. In this case CG appears to have a personal interest in the topic....

I sent her a PM apologizing for my part in the drift and unless it's on topic I'm not going back to that thread.

I appreciate your comments and wisdom KIV. This stuff is interesting to learn, for sure.

Way to nail 'em Moz.

Rusty Nail recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz Scotch whisky
1/2 oz Drambuie® Scotch whisky
1 twist lemon peel

Pour the scotch and drambuie into an old-fashioned glass almost filled with ice cubes. Stir well. Garnish with the lemon twist.

KC is still home but Saratoga is our family's vacation spot. We've got friends out here that we stay with which gives us back door access to the Snowy Range. WY DOT closes Hwy 130 off and you can take a snowmobile up into the mountains...on a clear day you can see way down the front range into Colorado. It's beautiful.

Saratoga also has the public hotsprings...they don't have nearly as bad of a sulfur smell as Thermopolis does, they're open 24x7 and it's free. If you like fishing the Platte River is 3 blocks away. It's not a bad place to be.

I just came in here for a quick sec to apologize to Cowgirl. I like your thread and think it's important, it's just that I'm a big-time smartass and there's this one poster that brings out that part of me in a major way. I think I'm allergic to the self-important, that's all.

Anyhoo, I like your stuff and keep it up.

Now, where's that to-kill-ya?

(Wanders in looking down... stops here and there to munch on things he finds while perusing the barroom floor)

Man... did you guys know there's a wealth of snacks just laying around down here? Bits of cookie, cake crumbs, stuff like that. How have I not noticed this before?

BC... could I get a bowl of beer to wash these morsels down with? They're varied in flavor, but none-the-less intriguing.

(Hops on the bar and strolls down to cowgirl)

Howdy!! Welcome to the bar.

[Deranged figure stumbles up to the bar, dusting mystrious gray powdery substance off arms and shoulders.]

Mr friends [gravelly voice], I'd like to treat you all to a friend of mine called Walk the Plank. Arrgghh. (No, it's NOT too early in the day.) First, may I have a LARGE mixing bowl and some ice? Thank you. Now, in go (in large portions) ... Captain Morgan rum, Malibu rum, peach schnapps, Bacardi 151, pineapple juice, orange juice and pomegranate syrup. Stir well. Do not attempt to shake.

OK straws for everyone. Now, who's got a match?
