Thanks, EDB!

Just sat here writing a reply about heroism, and what it means... and, well, started thinking of al the friends and whatnot I've lost in the line of duty, from way back to the most recent (Mr. Fishist) and really, really hit me hard. Doesn't happen that often...

Pretty bad when one of the guys walks in and they see tears streaking down my cheeks. Hate it when that happens.

>Ahem...<

BTW... I just noticed my post counts. This (I think) willl be 999. Amazing. I still remember when I was new here, and the count was double digits.

Anyway, thanks for being here, offering a shoulder to cry on for a bit and a bottle to drain those tears into...

Yeah BB. Strange how tears and grief can be hurtful and helpful at the same time.
Being a holiday it can be hard to keep things in perspective. Lot`s of time to think I suppose...
I feel really bad for Fishy too. I sure hope she can find comfort during this really tough time.
Sorry you are sad. May those tears wash away the pain in your heart.

Here`s to honoring those we`ve lost with memmories happy and sad.

>Tapping on a champagne flute, as half filled champagne glasses magically appear in front of everyone here...<

Me too, it'z true, wanna knew, boo Who? >giggles<

It seems only fitting my 1000th post is here... after all, this is where my friends hang out. It's like my local dive. It's also the last day (prolly) of the first year I was on ePlaya. I think. (Was I here last year???)

Anyway, as it's such a momentous occasion, on such a momentous day of a *quite* momentous year, I'd like to raise a glass in salute...

First, to Tishers, who made this awesome and wonderful place from the dust floating through the ether into the rockingist, swinginest, happenenest, coolest, and most awesome pub on this (and any other) Playa...

To the wonderful guys and gals who are my family here in this awesome pub (you know who you are!!)... Sputnik and Fishie and Mozy and Blue and LeChat and Zule and Joel and Sandwichman and EDB and UbEr and Heli and... Omigod, there really *are* so many more... >HUGGGGGSSS!!<...

To those dear friends and family, like Nipples and Bounce, who are no longer with us on this plane of existance, but will live on forever in our hearts, our thoughts, and whenever we smell that wonderful scent of playa dust...

To those brave, brave souls who took me into their fledgling theme Kamp last year and lett me be part of a legend (and to all those enemies, former and domestic, who keep being part of it so fun!)...

To all the wonderful friends and family that, over the past year, have taken me under their wing and allowed me to terrorize you >giggles<

To his Larryness, for after all, if it weren't for him, could it have been anyone else who started this stuff... and the band of misfi... er... wonderful people who make all of this happen in the default world...

To all the newbies, the virgins, the dreamers and schemers, that ask the questions and give us answers and keep us thinking and smiling...

And yes, even to the Sock Puppets and Spammers and .ru people, the PITA's and all those who keep us on our toes and busy...

To all of you who keep this ePlaya alive...

HAPPY OLD YEAR!!!!!

Hugs to y'all...

BB Sue

Dear Bar patrons, I am on duty most of the next two nights and on call when not. I don't want any messes to clean up. h

CBA?

They are a pair of LS 18" Subwoofer cabinets. 500 watts continuous. Nice low end.

They will be a good add-on to my Yorkville 15" cabinets. The system is growing.

I need a drink, fuckin ebay seller is going to end up pissing me off. I bid on an auction for a new mixer. The auction states that Pay Pal is accepted. The auction ends and the guy sends me a message telling me he can't do Pay Pal. Time to report the fucker. Scam artists deserve to be shot.

(Black Cat rushes in and hops onto a bar stool. He pulls from the magic ditty bag some paper and a pencil and sets to work. He begins to write something down. What’s he writing? Can’t see... but he’s diligent about it for sure. You can tell because his tongue's sticking out. For some time he works, concentrating very hard on the task at hand, or paw, as the case may be.)

Shew... could I get a beer? All this thinkin' is making me thirsty.

I'm well, tired though. Working all the time now.

But happy, now I'm just counting down the days. Thirteen days left.
