Harrrumph. Well I gotta add something here because that whole "girly guy" label thing ruffles my fur and makes my claws twitch. Mostly because it manages to put down both sexes at the same time, amazing. Since when is a lady with class and taste labeled "girly" (like never right?) and so why should a gentleman with class and taste be labeled "girly" hmmmm? Brother. I'm OK with the metrosexual thing to a point though it really must include both straights and gays and both should be OK sharing the honors. I'm a proud gay male but only got a 26 on the quiz a couple pages back mostly because I'm more in the "ruralsexual" catagory...you know, horses, ranches, trucks, country living etc...and with silver toenails. Then there's that other "manly man" term you hear when some guy feels a need to proclaim his so-called masculinity. Bleah. I'm Human and mostly glad for it but would rather be Wraeththu. http://www.wraeththu.com/

Like my horse heheh (bless the great gelding's heart, neither of us have sired any offspring). Instead of girly guy...DivaDude, hmm better...AmazonMale, ha, wrong image...um Burner Guy! (There are so many guys out there using their creative side, and deep down the manly men get a kick out of tapping their "womanly" side.) Retrosexual? Naw, sounds regressive like when sex is only about pleasing yourself (or perhaps "consummating the marriage while thinking only pure thoughts"). A person has arrived when they go beyond sex to intimacy and shared passion and magic with whoever their partner is. Omnisexual.

I thought that the whole darn article was just another attempt to whine about the sex life of the author without really saying anything substantive.blyslv wrote:"The women have won, if you've won when you have worse sex than your grandmother did. Secretly they don't find these men very exciting, either. And they don't feel feminine when they're with them. What does "feminine" mean anyway, besides the result of a lot of grooming rituals drag queens can do too?"

IS IT TRUE?
say it ain't so
Of course, I had a great time when I was exploring the San Francisco sex radical scene--and this was only a couple of years ago--and still have fun further out on the fringes today. If you limit your discussion to collage boys and collage girls you're going to get a distorted picture. What I knew about sex in collage could have been written on an index card.

Re: I am far from a girly man
As far as I can tell "fag" or "lesbo" is thrown at any gender non-comformist. It's a form of idiocy, I guess.michael wrote:
I, for example, have been called a fag most of my life. In my younger years this was surprising, having sex with a man was not on my permanent record. Over the years I wondered why people would say this. Eventually I figured it out. I am a fag by their definition. .
