Don't worry
This is due to the pathetic state of sexual research in this country. I belive this is from Kinsey--who was A doing this in the 40s and 50s, B working with, as I recall, a non statistically-representive group (a factor of just how radical it was at the time) of mostly middle-class types and C based on criteria that we might or might not chose to apply to ourselves and others now.Angry Butterfly wrote:Ok, I don't know about guys, but first i hear that wor women it is 28, now someone tells me it is 35, meaning it is only going to get worse! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It became one of those mindless things endlessly repeated that doesn't really mean anything.
Just think of bad 50s social hygene/dating information movies that they showed teens and how little application it has to your life ant that will calm you down.

I just found out the real reason for this and it is actully pretty cool, there are two representaitons of bhudda, the fat one and a more svelt looking one. The "fat" one represents the pre-enlightend state, and the athletic looking one represents the enlightened state, we look at the fat one to remind ourselves that even Bhudda once had the baggage of worldly desire. Like most art it is symbolic. I tend to like the fat one better, where a lot of my friends who have been in tune with their spirituality longer tend to like the thin one. But it might just be an esthetic thing.warrior queen wrote:If Buddha is balanced and enlightened, why is he fat?
I took the road less traveled, and now I would like to go back and find the paved one.

Why do people love Bush when the family has always been this way?

Why, oh why, do people insist on taking a perfectly good name like
I mean, wtf? I don't really care how it's spelled, but is it that hard to fucking remember which it is and go with it? Would Joe Schmoe like it if people suddenly started writing his name Joeschmoe? Sheesh!
and writing itBurning Man

Maybe this is just a Reno thing, but why are all the new local bands using sentence fragments for their names? Examples: Stars are falling, Light Breaks Morning, Clearing Autumn Skies, Dump Your Boyfriend, etc. Whatever happened to using nouns for band names?

I like bands who's names' are puns, like The United Anarchists and Jehovah's Witness Protection Program.JezebelinHell wrote:Maybe this is just a Reno thing, but why are all the new local bands using sentence fragments for their names? why am I addicted to E playa Again!?
Why does sugar taste so good if it is bad for you?
Why can't I stand Looking for work?
Why do people think artists should work for free?
Why cant I find a job doing what I love without starting my own company?
Why is it that I spend 60% of my "work" time doing non creative stuff, even though it is my creativity that my clients value?
