How did all that turn out? Will we see it again in '06?

Hey,

We all pulled together and a much needed shade structure was gifted (since ours was stolen!) so all turned out well in the end.

I hope to see it again in 2006 as its a life line for us international Burners. It looks like there will be a camp but the rideashare from Reno doesnt look like its going to be happening due to all the complaints from the neighbours last year. Possibly to be moved somewhere else to keep the residents happy!

According to the web site more details will be had by May 06.

Burner Hostel Disaster

Post by hageymon » Sat Jan 14, 2006 10:04 pm

Well, other than the fact that the Captain of the Good Ship Burner Hostel, Hagey, (Moi') almost had a nervous breakdown beforehand and terrible depression afterwards, we managed to pull things together well enough to have a reasonably successful year, thanks to a great deal of support by our friends, and we'll be open again for business this year, with a few changes here and there (some big and some small) to keep the neighbors and authorities off our backs. And we won't be parking any of our essential vehicles in insecure locations, either. This Burner Hostel thing is just too goddamned good to close down or walk away from. I'm rested and recovered and have my head out of my ass and I'm getting ready to rock and roll again, soon... www.blackrockburnerhostel.com
