I just went out to get the mail and there was part of a mailing from Burning man only the ticket order form what was the rest or the thing that some postal worker must have at home by now.

I'm haveing computer problems

what I tryed to say was I had just made my way out to get the mail.
there was a thing from Burning Man but it looed like some it was missing, all I got was the ticket order form with my name on it.
And I was wondering what the rest of it was, I'm guessing that some postal worker took the rest of the piece of mail home with them.

Hmmm, interesting. I couldn't tell you what the rest of it was, if there was anything else. I wouldn't worry about it too much. I kind of doubt that the postal worker would take it home, as they probably have no idea what the fuck Burning Man is.

Ugh, I have been up waaay too long today. I worked both jobs today, eight-thirty a.m. to nine p.m. and I am fried.

Yea, after a fifty hour week, I think I deserve it.

It's the wine store's christmas party tomorrow night. I have a feeling that I may drink too much. But at this point I don't really care, though come Monday morning I probalby will.

I don't think I'll make it out there either. Next week is more work than this one as I have fourty hours at ING and seventeen hours at the wine store. Ohh, I'm soo screwed. But as Sensei says, I deserve it.

I saw that too...I did a frame by frame look with the DVR and to me it was the playa...our playa and not the one South of I-80 where they film other commercials.

I saw it , it was definitely the Playa. Was able to match up those mts to the west with some pics. Though they seemed alot deeper into the playa. The overhead shot of the cracked surface just seemed obscene next to a Hummer.
I need a drink. Some Horse named Tami is messing up the Barnyard. Throw her a carrot she may calm down. Oh and she may be in here soon I invited her for a drink , but sent her out to do her laundry first . Damned smelly socks.

I camped on the West side of BRC this year and I spent a lot of time looking at those mountains. I really didn't have to go back and look at the DVR, sure the background in the commercial moves fast but I knew...I just knew right then that was our playa. The frame by frame just confirmed it.

I'm always on the lookout for anything or anyone that might have been influenced by a stay in BRC. I'm glad to see others noticed that too.

Seems like half the car ads use a playa. It's good to hear those aren't all the Black Rock. I remember one a year or so ago that featured a car shredding the surface with high speed turns. Made me cringe.

I don't remember where I read it now but I remember seeing something about the car companies using a playa South of Lovelock for most of their filming. That location and of course Bonneville see almost all of the activity...with the easy access to I-80 for the transporters vs. that 100 mile trip up 447 it's kinda understandable why they go there instead of to Black Rock.
