I'm so in love with Iron and Wine I really have to take a break from them.. So, I'm listening to:

Songs:Ohia~ rather sad stuff, but lovely

Magnolia Electric Co~ Jason Molina of Songs:Ohia's other kinda gloomy but very good band

Broken Social Scene~ a Montreal band.. there's about 14 members or something, including Feist

Mason Jennings

Ugly Casanova~ members from Modest Mouse, Blackhearts Procession, and Red Red Meat

A Band of Horses~ so damn good

Cat Power~ very sweet and sad, brave stuff.

Boards of Canada~ The Campfire Headphase

And the usual for me: Radiohead, Massive Attack, PJ Harvey, Beth Orton, Godspeed, Rage Against the Machine, Elliot Smith, Amon Tobin.. tons of other stuff.. music is therapy for me..

Be mindful, Uber. You don't want your own Interrogation Squad to suspect dissension in the ranks. Now stand at attention and salute The Kernul.

One must remember that boys usually get their development later than girls, so please give it time.

Drivel?

My professional training and experience dictates that the program should reflect the audience, um, or that the audience should consider the source. I forget which.

Corporate speak...while playing corporate jargon bingo. With two cards at that. The first one is blocked out completely, the other one has 5 squares left.

Oh-oh. Avalon. That's one of my favorites. I've managed to wear out two cds and numerous cassettes. The only thing I've bought more frequently is Dark Side of the Moon.

Is it a sign of the apocolypse that I have something in common with DVD?

Hehehe. Larry's out for three ~ four weeks at a time. And nope, no sharing!

Besides, the age gap would weird me out.

Sigh, I have the radio on, classic rock. I'm so predictable.

Woke up with a song in my head.
Since 6:30am, it keeps repeating.
Over, and over, and over.
It's a good tune, but christ! it's stuck in my head.

It's the riff from Brokeback Mountain.

The pounding of the drums.

The ringing in my ears.

The laughter of the clowns outside my door.

The scritch scritch scratch of the rat inside my skull.
It ain't the hanging, it's the drop.
