It's afternoon. Virtual beer would be good. Real beer would be better.

Happy Valentines Day to all my friends.
It's going to be alright.

EDB--thanks

Blue--why do you think I call it VD? It's a smarmy bay area 80s/90s thing.

LeChat--the reason why I wanted you to buy me music is I'm too ferking chichenzhit to do it myslef. I just want an infusion of good music and don't know where to start. I think I'll throw myslef a party. 5 friends, $300 dollars and a used record store...hm....

FAvorite "bands" include: Brave Combo, Tom Waits, the Klezmatics, Bob Dylan, the Pogues, Hank Williams. As you can see, these are shading into oldies--if not already there.
I'm doing the dreaded hippie thing of getting into world music, because I can't deal with rap.
Love fiddle, slide guitar, xylophone and vibraphone (although not jazz--I'm insane with contradictions).
Hate ballads--too sappy.

Isn't there something in the rules about running really noisy go karts around the playa.

Someone find the manual.
It's going to be alright.

Great, someone spilled prb on the manual and now all the pages are stuck together.

OK, that's what I expected to find. Time to burn it to heat the hot tub.
It's going to be alright.

Okay here's more fuel.

*fishy starts tossing stuff into the woodbox--including broken bar stools (we've got to stop ordering furniture from that hollywood break-away store); prototypes for mini-man; a stack of what, where, whens and Black Rock Gazettes; paperspam sent to Larry Harvey; and a pile of less than inspired cotton costumes.*
