Fisksåsen är den allra vanligaste kryddan i Vietnam, och görs av fermenterad fisk längs kusterna. Sättet som såsen, Nuoc Mam görs på har stora likheter med den svenska surströmmingsprocessen och det finns ett otal olika sorters sås varav den finaste kommer från Phu Quoc nere i Papegojnäbben på Vietnams sydspets. Nuoc Mam används både som krydda i maten men på ett vietnamesiskt bord står alltid en liten skål med nuoc mam utspädd med citron eller vinäger och litet socker. Sen har varje husmor sitt eget recept för vad man vill lägga i, litet vitlök eller någon inlagd grönsak t ex. Äter man mat utan annan sås så doppar man maten ett varv i nuoc mam innan man lägger den i sin skål, eller så droppas fisksåsen över maten som smakförstärkare. Det finns också en starkare variant, Mam Tom som görs på räkor, och består av en starkt luktande violett pasta. Få svenskar brukar klara av doften men i små mängder i t ex en sås så ger mam tom en mustig smak - på samma sätt som vi t ex lägger ansjovis i såsen till en slottsstek.

Hello all people in Kamp Apokiliptika.

I have been reading the posts on Kamp Apokiliptika and Camp Herring for a while now.
My name is Tatjana and I am from Russia.
The past 4 years I have spent modeling in USA.
This year will be my first at Burning Man but I am not hocked with any camp yet.
I like the theme of your camp and it fits me perfect being from Russia.
I think I can contribute to your radio station and on the playa with speaking Russian.
I worked 3 years for a Russian radio station called Dinamit FM in Moscow before I went to USA.
I won the Moscow voice of the year title 2 times while working for them.
Since I now make a living being a fitness model I'm also able to help you with some great weapon babe pictures.
Basically I am a happy girl that loves people and fun.
