what are u?, some kind of wuss. only four shots, and thats a problem? Personally I like 6 to get started,,,,,,then another couple about 10, then about 1, then well, just keep on shooting the caffeine

I hear ya, EspressoDude. I drink more caff' than the poster says, but it was more of a PSA directed towards the ambience of community, and, well...coffee! The first time I ever had espresso was in Seattle. I thought I asked for an Americano, but I guess not, because she gave me a cup that was just a little bigger than a thimble. I took it back in one gulp, and it kicked my ass for like 3 hours. Whoa, potent!

Well Clark, if your buddy Tom can't get enuff BUZZ at CoffeeCamp, and certainly not at center camp;
he is welcome to come over and visit EspressoCamp and bring you, along with other buzz-buds too.

We hope to be at the 3:00 plaza like last year. Come visit, join us, have some Espresso,etc.

Why do dogs hump poles? Why do dogs hump legs? Why do dogs squirm across the floor dragging their parts?

The dog was gifted to us, and indeed it is an electric(eclectic?) barking howling humping dog that gets more and more frantic, then sighs .....

BARKY likes our jyur-ass-ic rat sooo much that every time someone tickles BARKY's ear, he starts humping RATICUS's face, and howling.
(rat does have a grin)

Sometimes the pole does get in the way, but then there is pole dancing......

Even better with Espresso.....just like new batteries

Yeah Cryptofishist, I believe animals (us included) do all sorts of things when under the influence of caffeine, it's just the way that it works

. Hey EspressoDude, we've got stuffed animals zip tied to our shade structure, too! (Won them in the crane game on the drive through Nevada). Good call, Mozy- smaller pictures are better, except my drawing program allows small, med, and large icons (small and med. aren't big enough, can't see the type.) Anyway, keep up the good posting about the whole caffeine spectrum (java, espresso, tea, chai, hot chocolate, etc. Plus, if you have any great recipes to share!!!!

Holy mother of freakin scroll bars. Re-size those images people, preview before you post. Sheesh, I'm running a 32 inch LCD and I still had to scroll. That's ridiculous...heck even the free image viewers like IrfanView will let you resize an image.

My general philosophy is , if the espresso(or coffee) is good, why contaminate it with milk, sugar, cinnamon, etc.

Also, it makes the permit process, and clean-up a lot easier. (no dairy products, no refrigeration or thermometers needed).

But if we go back to your original concept of the wading pool; then the whipped cream, sugar, cinnamon, with the coffee sounds like a whole lot of fun.

Yeah, I hear you EspressoDude. The thought of the kiddie pool is something that crossed our mind (as a joke, but than again

...), the MOOP would be insanily bad. (I would cry at seeing the waste of perfectily good brew, Mother Earth would cry from all the non-naturly like substances on the ground. For love sake, even the unicorn would cry from seeing all the other crying and unhappiness and distress. Yep, I like el natural when it comes to hot beverages, too. Are you getting/have you gotten your tickets for this year? Seriously, we have to keep in touch over the next few months as it gets closer. I will PM you some thoughts and ideas here in a little bit.

Tickets have been purchased, but way like last month,
already got the bill for them and paid that.......

Ideas: secret pipeline to center camp coffee factory vats to siphon off brew for the pool///\\\\ scratch that...rename as reservoir.

Good call, EspressoDude. I wonder what the complications/projections would be to dig the tunnel to the Center Cafe. Hmmm...nothing some help from some volunteers and some nights pumped on caffeine wouldnt stop! You say you camp around 3 o'clock, and we usually camp at about 8:30 or so. We could make a V-Shaped underground passage to the Cafe (6 o'clock position). If we went into the cafe at like 3 a.m in the morning, we could easily make off with some good supplies, and would have back-ups to fall back on if we got hit hard. Nice!

I was thinking about that last night,
to get enough coffee to last the week.
Try to get enough to make it, well, near
impossible to run out under regular circumstances.
I'm gonna start doing some homework on
wholesalers and see if quanity (like cases) brings
down the price. Plus, to figure in the amount
of water (80 gallons?) or so, which usually
accounts for most of the space usage on the
way down...

Check out a Java-Log, carry one in your pocket for a big toke on the playa....catch a real buzz.

I like the portability factor of it though, Espresso! I wonder
how many other ways the body can get caffeine without
the traditional form of drinking it. I know they make alot of
caffenated products: chewing gum, chocolate, even
caffeine bar soap (seriously), where it soaks into your
skin while you wash
