Nice job stealing the radar tracking from the Rangers.....the one they use to monitor the perimeter at night.. Guess they will have to get by with just their night vision goggles.

Mozy turns off the lights puts some candles and incense around the bar.
strips off and jumps in the hot tub and starts to sing.

"All I wanna do is have a little fun before I die,"

All I wanna do is have some fun
I got a feeling I'm not the only one
All I wanna do is have some fun
I got a feeling I'm not the only one
All I wanna do is have some fun
Until the sun comes up over a Black Rock city Boulevard

I like a good beer buzz early in the morning
And BB Sue likes to peel the labels
From her bottles of PBR
She shreds them on the bar
Then she lights every match in an oversized pack
Letting each one burn down to her sexy fingers
Before blowing and cursing them out
And she’s watching the bottles of PBR as they spin on the floor
And a happy couple enters the bar
Dangerously close to one another
Mosy looks up from his bar book.

All I wanna do is have some fun
I got a feeling I'm not the only one
All I wanna do is have some fun
I got a feeling I'm not the only one
All I wanna do is have some fun
Until the sun comes up over a Black Rock Boulevard

Otherwise the bar is ours,
The day and the night and the desert too
The matches and the PBRs and the dusty and dirty bar.
The sun and the moon but

All I wanna do is have some fun
I got a feeling I'm not the only one
All I wanna do is have some fun
I got a feeling I'm not the only one
All I wanna do is have some fun
Ive got a feeling the party has just begun
All I wanna do is have some fun
I won't tell ya, that your the only one
All I wanna do is have some fun
Until the sun comes up over a Black Rock city Boulevard
Until the sun comes up over a Black Rock city Boulevard

I have never had a mimosa. Ever. I don't even know what's in one.

Champagne and orange juice, basically. Good healthy breakfast drink. Ignore any foo-foo juice such as pomegranate or passion fruit. Real mimosas don't need none o' that.

cock gets out of tub, dries off
That's right, your basic recipe is light, fresh with just enough alcohol to take the edge off your hangover. The next step up is to add a half shot of Grand Marnier making it a Grand Mimosa. But don't poopoo the Passion recipe:
* 2 oz chilled Passion fruit juice
* Chilled Champagne
* Strawberries
Pour passion fruit juice into a champagne flute. Fill with chilled champagne, decorate with strawberry, and serve.

It can be the ticket for some morning nookie.

puts on suit jacket, straightens tie, slicks back head feathers

Well guys, I'm outta here. Got a hot date on the other side of the planet. How do I look?

Ok, stupid question #2: I don't know diddly about champagne either....the stuff I've had tasted like....well...anyway how about some recommendations on what to look for when I go shopping next time? And I'll remember that early morning suggestion part.

And BC you look just fine. The avatar looks much better too...that last one didn't look right.

It can be the ticket for some morning nookie.
Well, since I am the morning nookie, it would fall to larry to make whatever beverage I desire.

When it comes to mimosas I'm a purist, whle I think the passion fruit and strawberry version would be over the top delicioso, I personally wouldn't call it a mimosa. But then I'm persnickty.

(Wakes up soggy and wrinkled with drool on his chin)

*snort* It’s all in the wrist!!!

(Looking around, sees that The Bar is empty and that he was only dreaming)

(Slowly climbs out of the now cold tub)

*slop, slop*... *slop, slop*... *slop, slop*

(Behind the bar counter leaving a trail of wet paw prints)

(Finds towel, dries off... thinks of various things as he wraps up and sits a bit)

(slides a cup of hot Orange Pekoe tea to LCN) I just woke up from a nap myself, LeChat. Ouch, Friday night, I played real good, maybe even too good. I wrote Saturday off to get all the queasy out, and now, magically it's Sunday already. (slowly sips on own cup of tea)

It's going to be alright.

WooHooo!!! Mardi Gras and reading material when you get home with a head throbbing like a tooth ache!

I'm gald you had fun... I'm even more glad you made it back home.

Karine is playing shuttle service/sober cab (Pearlington to NOLA and back) between now and Tuesday. Shes’ the only one with a car that isn’t a work truck required at camp, so she gets to Mardi Gras on and off until Fat Tuesday...

That sucker.

LeChat, I don't want to sound dumb, but I just haven't kept up. Hows New Orleans coming with clean up/building?

I never drive drunk, so the only issue was who else was on the road. At 5:00am that's pretty much no one. OK, I'm sacking out. Later dudes.

*slurp*

You gotta love the bodhran...

Percussionist for The Old Blind Dogs plays the Ashiko sometimes too. That's a nice drum.
Hows New Orleans coming with clean up/building?
New Orleans proper really has a long way to go, but they're getting there as far as clean up goes. Rebuilding seems to be on hold while all parties with pull work out the details. It was a ghost town when I was there in Mid January. Very surreal indeed. Biloxi/Gulfport,/etc. is another story. They are still covered up in debris. It's crazy to see it all and know that much of it is still exactly where it landed after the storm. They were really two different disasters. NOLA had a long greasy soak... everywhere else got blasted with 12' tide surge and parts of it dragged back out to sea. but the thing I must remind myself of is that people are down there and making a difference. The Burners and otherwise. it's gonna be years and years.

I should add that down town looks untouched because basically it was. Bourbon Street and all that are great. 9th ward, Lakeview, and all those places... different story.
