Mozy awakes in the desert cold. Looks around sees that no one is around.

As he gets up he finds on the ground dragon and wolf tracks. Then sees Apokizooka trike tracks going off into the desert.

Shit! He starts to follow on foot. I just lay down for a minute. Someone could have poked me with a stick or something.

Awww...the poor thing's got a cold! *producing hankie*

'Scuse me while I run back to camp and change to the ASBESTOS sporran. Too early for a weenie roast!

What I want to know is....with all the atomic testing (and Lupine fission) out here, WHERE ARE THE MUTANTS? I expect giant bugs- At LEAST, say, a big mantis......

About a month after BM there is a great model rocketry event on the playa. I thinks its called BALLS. Mighty big model rockets goin wayy up high. Aside from that I think they might still do some land speed record stuff out there from time to time.

I don't have the gas money or vacation time left..., could Black Rock sneak over here to me? There's plenty of room for it in Lake Michigan....

Hey Bas,
You could do what I did and just quit your job. Work isn't that important, anyway. It's there year-round, with BM you have only a week.

Unfortunately, I think that the bill collectors might not approve of that approach! Anyway, I do like my job-- where else do you regulary get to give teenagers a hard time without risking them talking back?!? (They WANT that driver's license, and I get to decide if they get it!)

Besides, at 43 I gots to start worrying about retirement....

Maybe when I retire I can live out there year round, but for now... maybe we could have a "Frozen Man" on a lake out here in Wisconsin in February? Or maybe a Soaking Man out on (in? under?) Lake Michigan at some time? It might be easier for me than sneaking back out, esp. when Black Rock is a sea of mud....

Anyway, none of this means I won't try to go back during the official week! Just need to figure out how to save the money and get the right time off.

Well, gotta get ready for work. Just back from my grandpa's 101st brithday!

But, if it weren't for the bill collectors, I'd get almost no telephone calls at all! :( Then I'd be lonely... (breaks into the song about being lonely from "Team America: World Police" :P )

List your desire to buy or sell a house on several of the national realtor bbs. Send a small donation to the Wildlife fund and do it publicaly on their bbs. List your telephone number with the national do call list.
