Playa dust

My Husband and I were getting into his truck last week on a warm day so we turned on the air conditioner. The result was a spitting of a little Playa dust as the air kicked on. I had talked him into going to BM the last 2 years because I wanted to go so bad. He loves me so we went, taking his new truck. I sat there waiting for him to complain about the Playa dust that nevers goes away instead he says " I like it when that happens. It smells like home."

I guess I won't have to talk him into going next year

Isn't it funny... little things like that... especially that "dry" smell... all the memories it brings back?

The saddest part is those who don't know...

Sounds llike you got yourself a burner for an old man - Congrats!!!! (Oh, congrats also on the christening of your new truck, too!!)

I had my tools out today (working on a bm project) and when I was done I slammed the tool box closed. A waft of playa blew against me. Such wonders!

mozy gets in his truck thinking that he can just drive out to the playa today so he can be happy too. but turns around and comes back home when he realizes that it's more than just the dust.

Just got a surprise whiff from a tangle of wires that I had forgotten were in my Playa Toybox last year. Nice!

I have a box of goodies covered in playa dust. Keep in mind however that it is not friendly to metal and can eat away at autobody parts and tools...

My respirator is still covered in Playa Dust. I feel like a junkie everytime I place it to my nose for a quick playa fix. Its a beautiful thing. AAAAHHH

Well off topic a wee bit but watched a little BM story on "Currents" last night it featured lady Bee driving the reporter around looking at Art it was pretty good story and did not try to get salacious...With Frenchblue1 reminding me I guess I will finally go clean the dust off the bike and lube the bearings if there still is any...
