Why is Burning Man so homo sapien?

Post by MoisturePup » Wed Mar 08, 2006 11:21 am

I've been a burner for a few years now & am rather curious as to why BM is such a "homo sapien's festival," if you will?

There's virtually no homo erectus folks and hardly any cro-magnun folks either... I do see the occassional tit oogling neanderthall but that's about it Sad Even that Bollywood Camp last year was mostly homo sapien...

Anyone care to explain? Share your theory!

Burning hugs to all,

Well, the "all the homo erectus are in DPW" hypothesis has be discredited as out and out racism.
I'm sure I saw a group of australiopithicans at the temple burn. Small, gracile and hairy. And singing Beatles tunes.

They're posers. They don't even live in caves, rather a rock shelter on the plains. Don't believe everything you read scratched on the wall.

Hey...I'm a Cro-Magnon. At least, 1/8th.

No shit, the Euskadi/Basque are Cro-Magnon. And that part of Nevada...you can't walk down the street swinging a wet sock in a circle without hitting a Basque. Just be careful or you might get shanked with a lamb's femur...

At the 1998 festival we came across an encampment of Homo Erectus. I feared to approach the men of the tribe as each was armed with a large dagger. They looked like they knew how to use them.

Because the HeebeeJeebee healers find grooming and tick eating unsanitary.

Its for Homo Sapiens, because there are no more Homo erectus, and Bovines, Iguanas, and Chimps dont find it that interesting.

Hey now, I'm Homo. And quite often erectus. And I'm willing to share my 'good feelings'.... Anyone interested in "Basquing in the sunshine of my love?"

Be on the lookout for Homo Sapiens Post Hominem again this year. We're making a real play for the next dominant lifeform.
