I'm in Detroit. Yeah, it takes a bit to get there. If I fly Northwest I have to drop by Z's place first. Driving is pretty much out of the question for me.

Yes, it is. A bit overwhelming, and that's probably why I'm feeling the way I am right now. 3 months ago the event was far enough away as to not scare me so much. Now with it being less than 6 months away I'm getting worried.

That's just their copyright date. The shape of the base for the man with the long step up the one side reminds me very much of the base for 03 and not the base for 05.

Yeah I love the space imaging one blogged it last year when I got back the Google one has it value to showning almost empty version. Do the road marks stay thru winter rains/lake ever?

As to the roads, as long as the lake flows over in winter, then most of that is wiped clean (I'm told).

Again, that's just when they decided to apply a copyright to the image/data. It really has nothing to do with the date the data were acquired. it has more to do with when they decided to make the data publicly available (which was early in 05)
