hey all. i am going to burningman this year as part of my first place of travel as i am taking a year out to see the world from this august. so not only would i like to get to know alot of you during the event but it woud be great if anyone would be willing to help me out during the rest of my time in the california/nevada area. i am planning on staying in america for 2 months or so and am then moving on to peru, new zealand, australia, indonesia, south africa and kenya. i am travelling alone so getting to know any contacts from these areas would be great.
i am female, 19, i work part time at a boarding kennels walking dogs and am also self employed as a cleaner for the elderly. i play the drums, bongos, and a bit of guitar and love music of most kinds. i do a bit of poi, tai chi, mountain boarding, longboarding and i also love to paint and draw and do other various activities.
a couple of friends and i are also currently trying to set up a small festival organisation called "SMILE" hear on the malvern hills in the u.k
would love to hear from anyone, keep smiling and take it easy.

I don't live in CA/NV but this will probably help:

http://www.couchsurfing.com/

Probably get yourself a place to stay there. Just register, find some people in CA/NV where you want to be, ask if you can crash there and maybe shorter stays at each place to increase the odds of getting a place to crash.

Good luck.
It's what you make it.

Starting with the most exotic locale? A little anticlimactic...

(*not-so-secretly jealous*) Bon Voyage!
