He's selling gift burningman patches from 2003. Lists them as "weird" and "rare."

If anyone knows this guy, please tell him what an awful thing he's doing.

He's removed the item from bidding.

Talk about bad form.

Yeah, he got that off of there pretty quick.

If not, at $3.99 plus $1 shipping, I was going to suggest that we all each buy one, which would entitle us to leave feedback on knosaj, wherein we would discuss his propensity for killing and eating dead babies, etc.

me: "I believe it is illegal to use the Burning Man name to sell things on ebay that do not come directly from the BMorg (not to mention generally distasteful). I'm sure they've been notified. "

"Subject: Evidently big brother is alive and well

Christ, what's the deal with you???????
Fucking notify them yourself if you're so squeaky clean!!! I suppose it's not good enough that I cancelled the auctions, what do you want now? I nominate you for BMpurist of the month
Free country unless you upset someone."

Last I recall, on the old e-playa, from on of the BMOrg lawyers, was that you could sell Offical BM items on ebay (calendars, books, stuff officailly sanctioned by the org) and be allowed to put BM in the headline.

You could sell things BM related (clothes, goggles, shoes) but you could only write BM in the description, not the headline. I.e., "used goggles, held up great at BM."

Please correct me if I recall wrong as I am too damn lazy right now to go look it up.
