sorry kids let this post die..apparently I have had too much Vodka tonight.

what I meant to say is that Vodka seems to be the perfect liquor... it mixes with everything.
But just let this thread die,

The perfect drink:

Vodka, orange juice, club soda, and creme de menthe, mixed in a size 9 Nike, drunk from same.

Made one of these when I was a bartender. My buddy Tom drank it.

It helps to be really, really, really, drunk first.... as Tom was...

....and, yes, it tastes like old sneakers..... he threw up right afterwards...

meaning that vodka mixes well with just about anything (including X rated movies)...although this morning...my stomach is fucked up...

back when I worked in the party tent business, we would put vodka into boxes of iced tea from the local dairy. it tasted pretty much like shit, but the customers couldn't tell we were boozing on the job.

Potato vodka is worth the extra money. It actually doesn't taste like paint thinner. Patato vodka actually mixes even nicer with other stuff.

I've had a rendition of that recently and it is amazing. The name is even better.
On the playa I am a fan of jungle juice. Which is vodka, rum and anything fruity put in a nalgene bottle or two and drinken all night.
I just bought some of those Chaser pill things yesterday. I heard they work and I have also heard they don't work. If it only costs $6 to make sure I don't have a hangover when it's 100 degrees outside then so be it.

I found a hangover cure on a neurochemistry site by Harvard University a few years back that works pretty well. It's based on the idea of gathering up the toxic by-products of alcohol metabolization as quickly as possible, then ejecting them from the body.

You take the following before you start drinking, then before you go to bed, then in the morning: Vitamin B-5 (2), Selinium (1), Vitamin C (a big one), milk thistle (2), and NAC (2). Not too long after, you will need to enter a PortaPottie (not in a Montazuma sort of way, but you will need to go).

It's not a miracle cure, but it does work noticably,
