delicious birthday cake Chocolate Mocha Cake with Irish Whiskey
Ingredients
for the cake
6 ounces semisweet chocolate, minimum 70% cocoa solids
4 tablespoons freshly made strong mocha coffee
4 shots Irish whiskey
7 tablespoons raw vanilla-flavored sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, soft enough to cream
3 organic eggs, separated
1/2 cup freshly ground blanched almonds
A few drops natural bitter-almond extract
6 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, sifted

for the frosting
2 ounces best bittersweet chocolate
4 shots Irish whiskey
1/4 cup unsalted butter
