I'm often asked the question "What is BM?" Well I do much research and can explain it best from the BM site. The experience that you 2, 3 6 timers have is priceless. I want to hear your perception of what BM is!

I'm not a 2,3, or 6 timer (5 timer) but I will say it really can't be described fully. It's different for every person, like asking what it's like to live in New York City. Sure, there are some common experiences, but your choices, perceptions and circumstances have a great deal of influence.

For me, it's just something that I enjoy. It gets my creative and social juices flowing. It pulls me out of my mundane life for a bit and challenges my assumptions. Any attempt I make to completely classify it will just keep me from seeing it from any other angle the following year.

So, I say, go and find out for yourself.

It's ummm, well, y'know it's like uuhhhh, ummm, it's a .....hmmm.

It's a science experiment with no control group.

It's a bunch o' people who want to get together to do whatever they want with less constraints than they deal with in "default" society.

It's a camping trip where the point is to get away from absolutely everyone except the other 40,000 people also going on the same trip.

It's what you make it.

It's a chance to build really big dangerous art that people can play with.
